As the founding member of the band, he has devoted his life to playing the erhu and is also skilled in bamboo flute and violin.
With a deep passion for music, he shares his enthusiasm and kindness with every band member and audience, serving as the heart and soul of the group.
He firmly believes that traditional music can transcend cultural, racial, and generational boundaries, resonating deeply within people’s hearts.
His dedication and innovative spirit inspire the band to continually explore and grow.
Xizhe Zhu｜Guzheng｜Team Coordinator
She started learning the guzheng at age four and has many years of performance experience. She has worked with traditional and symphony orchestras and taken part in major concerts and competitions. Passionate about various musical styles, she is now exploring composition and arrangement. While studying in the UK, she joined a band of like-minded musicians to share the beauty of traditional Chinese music and inspire others with its unique charm.
Xin Wang｜Pipa
Xin is a Chinese music performer based in the UK, specialising in the pipa, a traditional Chinese instrument. She began learning the pipa at the age of five and has developed her expertise in performance, teaching, music arrangement, and composition. As the band coordinator, Xin is passionate about blending traditional Chinese sounds with Western instruments, creating innovative cross-genre musical works that inspire happiness, courage, and energy in audiences.
Ting Wang｜Vocal
A storyteller through song, Ting excels in both traditional Chinese folk and contemporary vocal styles. Her passion and skill bring authenticity and power to every performance.
Winner of multiple campus competitions, she often performs at cultural festivals, where her captivating voice moves audiences. For her, the stage is where the soul rests — and through her voice, she seeks to touch every heart.

Finance by trade, music by passion. Trinity grade 5 in hand and decades of enthusiasm to spare. First band gig——I play just enough notes to make the real pros look brilliant! With luck…hopefully they will invite me back-:)
